Happy Birthday General George Washington!  To celebrate his birthday we will discuss our first president's contributions to our country, his family life and his favorite pasttimes.  

The General moved into our first presidential home and set the stage for entertaining dignitaries.  He had very simple tastes and liked good ol' fashioned comfort meals from "the abundance of the land" like game, fowl, home grown vegetables and fruits.  But his favorite was "hoecakes" and honey, washed down with .......beer!

Join us for Tavern Night where you will enjoy a favorite cocktail and special snack.   Social time begins at 5:00, presentation begins at 5:30, and end the evening making new friends.  We ask for a minimum donation of $10 per adult over 21 to cover our costs.  All are welcome!
